A visit with George
So, one of Michael's favorite shows is Cruious George, on PBS. So, Curious George came to town, and Mommy and Michael went to go adn meet him. Despite the best efforts, Michael just wouldn't lift up his head for the picture.
Yes, he even had to wear a jacket outside because it is a little bit chilly. We have been in the 50's and 60's mostly. We are very glad to have such warm weather though. We can't imagine how bad the roads and traffic would be here if it actually snowed. I think I would probably walk to school. Of course there would be rush on table salt at the local Winn-Dixie. People would be driving off the road before the snow hit the ground just to have a story to remember. As for me, I think that I would just stay inside with the cars parked outside the front door so no one would think the parking lot was so slick that they would jump the curb, skid over the sidewalk, plow through the overgrown bushes and into the apartment. Maybe living on the second story would be a good thing.
This wouldn't be such a funny scenario had it not have happened at Ricks. Someone was waiting in a car outside of the apartment when he decided he wanted to listen to the radio or get some heat or something, so he reached over to turn the key on and the car lurched forward. Appariently, this was a special car which either had a bypassed neutral start sensor or didn't require the clutch to be pushed in. Kind of funny, except the poor people in the basement apartment had to move out because they did too much damage to the brick face.
Either way, we don't anticipate any snow here anytime soon. Only rain seems to fall in it's place. But that is ok, we don't mind a mild winter.
