A new type of puzzle

So, here is the game. You see the shape and figure out what can go into the shape.

Round 1!

This is an easy one. What in this room fits in the shape?

Round 2! Two shapes. What fits in these shapes?
Here are the choices for the round 2. Hint - you should only use the ones that are reading the books.
Answers are below.

And now for the answer key
Ok, so Isaac was the other one. He wouldn't stop chewing on the blocks near his head so a picture could be taken. Actually the shape was not such a good outline of him anyway since he tried to get every block around him.
But he's cute anyway.

So I get to make the blog this week! We will see how it goes.
As always, our lives have been full. Daddy is overwhelmed with school projects that are all due this next week. Then finals are after that. But then a whole lot of time off!! with Christmas coming and such. Isaac has learned that he can get from one place to another by rolling. He rolls until he can roll no more. Unfortunately he hasn't yet mastered the art of turning around. So when he gets to a wall or obstacle, he gets stuck. So he cries until we "unstick" him. If we turn him around, then he rolls the other way. It is quite entertaining. Michael is mastering the use of contractions in the English language. He can get "aren't" for "are not", and "isn't" for "is not." But that just doesn't work for "am not." He says "amn't". Man it is hard to learn to speak English! No wonder people have such a hard time with all of the exceptions to the rules.
Well, here are some pictures. Isaac loves to play with Michael! And Michael reciprocates the feeling as long as Isaac does not have Michael's blanket. Although it is really funny when Isaac has a hold of Michael's blanket and laughs when Michael says "No!" and tries to get his blanket back.

Daddy with the boys! They were all smiling. I couldn't resist taking a picture of them!
Michael's new favorite thing to do is put something, a box or the laundry basket, on the chair and rock. Very interesting sight! But he loves it.
We set up and/or made decorations for our house!
This is our Christmas tree!!! Construction paper and real ornaments pinned to the wall. It was lots of fun to make, and Michael helped!

We also made a paper chain with more of the construction paper.
And, of course, the reason for the season. The birth of Christ. There are other decorations, but not as large. We are still working on the gathering decorations such as lights and other ornaments and a tree that isn't paper. Maybe after the holiday when Christmas decorations go on clearence.
Any way, hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!
