A new home for an old friend

For those of you who knew me when I was just a lad of teenage years, you may remember in the family room of our house in Missouri we had a large painting of Christ hanging on the wall. Behind this painting was actually a cabinet in which we kept a bunch of school stuff and games too. Well, when we moved, the painting came too. A simple white cabinet door was put in its place.

After a lengthy stint in with my folks in Georgia, the painting made way down to us. It sat in our living room on the floor leaning against the wall. Many people enjoyed the painting, but with a soon-to-be toddler, it was time to get it off the ground. So, looking down the hall into the bedroom, you now see this.

It's kind of inviting, isn't it?
Happy Easter and General Conference.

Addendum A.
Putting Isaac to bed I saw what was seen through their door... at least it is cloth and not 40 lbs.
That's a Pooh Bear and Friends quilt in case you can't tell.

I enjoy putting new stuff on my walls occasionally. It makes an old place new again!

I thought the idea was to take down stuff and pack it, not put it back up. At least you'll have a new place to become your own interior designer for.
