Our Growing Family
So here are some pictures of our family that will help explain what we have been up to.
We moved Isaac to his crib because he is too big for the bassinet. We are missing the brackets to hold the springs, on which the mattress sits, in place. So we bought some springs to use instead. The only problem was the springs were not stiff enough, and every time Isaac waved his arms the whole bed would bounce. This wouldn't work when he stared to roll, because then who knows where he would end up. So the move to the crib only lasted a few days. He is back in his bassinet until the problem is solved.
We have been to the pool several times. Isaac likes the water more than Michael does. Michael only goes to the second step, and that with a LOT of encouragement. But Isaac gets very tired and sleeps afterward.
Of course Michael has always loved hats. And no matter what the weather he will wear one. This one was when it was about 90 degrees out. Yes, he was plying outside while wearing the hat.
So we gave Michael a hair cut, finally! This is to remind you how long it was.
I took about 2 inches off. It was a pain because: 1-he wouldn't sit still--he was frightened of the clippers. 2-the clippers wouldn't work with an attachment. And 3- we don't have scissors sharp enough to cut hair. So I had to take a baby's comb (the only one I could find) , hold it a half inch above his head and cut it with the clippers. It was quite the experience! But I did it and he doesn't look too bad!
And, finally, thank you all for your birthday wishes to Aaron. This is the concertina he got, among other things.
