Spring-time in Tallahassee
So, I was at church in Madison, FL last Sunday for a Branch conference. Everyone was telling me about how they had finally got their garden in. This may sound a little strange. It was mid March and about the last week to plant a garden. One of them even had a trip to the Urgent Care clinic to get stitches. What's a good gardener with out a few blisters or other flesh wounds? Anyway, we had started on getting our little garden in here earlier in the week, but we finished on Monday. By we, I mean Mommy and Michael. Isaac sat there and watched while putting nearby twigs in his mouth. So, here is the result. Note the key-lime tree... yum.
We figure that the whole garden cost around $20. The tree was not included in that price, but since it is not planted in the ground, I hesitate to call it actually part of the garden. There are even little stakes to label the rows.
Isaac is learning about magnets. We could say he is counting in a round about way. Ha... our kids are more brillianter than yours.
And they smile too.
Easter came. There was a lot of easter egg hunting around here. Michael ended up with more than 20 filled plastic eggs. Sounds like a hyper day in primary to me.
Here's Isaac chewing on half an easter egg.
Look Mom, I got my sock off.
Maybe I'll just chew on this.
Easter morning, the boys were ready to go and look for their baskets after reading to them about the resurrection.
Here they are before they were devoured.
Some happy boys.
Happy Easter.

Great garden! I pictured it beside the building. You must have really torn out some trees.
All of our grandkids are simply brilliant. Who knows how many numbers Isaac knows since he can't tell us yet.
Happy Easter! Love, MOM
What a sweet garden! To be honest I was hoping that the desertness of AZ would mean I could get out of that admonition. But I hear you can grow tomatoes there so I might pick up on it. Have you guys figured out a good way to do Food Storage rotation?
Aaron say to eat it. We mark the month and year on the top of our canned food. Then we buy cans to replace the ones we have (our couch is full of canned food).
SO what is in your garden? I look forward to seeing things as they come up...if you want to share.
Dirt
Now I will finish Aaron's list of what is in the garden.
Seeds for string beans and tomatoes and carrots, and sprouts (they are just starting to sprout) for corn, peas, lettuce, spinach, banana peppers, zucchini, and pumpkins.
happy easter and spring!
